Well this is how I added a picture header to my TpT store home page.
1. CREATE THE HEADER
Create the header in Photoshop (or in Powerpoint)
Size: 450px by 176px or 3 inches by about 1.6 inches
Background color: blank or the gray TpT background color: #f1f1f1
** If you use Powerpoint, you could use the eyedropper tool to pick the exact color.
Note : TpT says shows that the file will be resized to 450px by 150 px, but the resizing didn't seem to affect my picture at all.
2.DECORATE THE HEADER
Add writing and pictures to your template
3. SAVE THE HEADER ON YOUR COMPUTER
Save the template as a PNG file using some unique and memorable name;
I called mine TpT Quotebox 1 Header.png
Save it to your computer or some other photo uploading site. I saved mine to Photobucket
4. TO START CHANGING YOUR QUOTEBOX ON THE TpT SITE
On your TpT main page go to the drop-down menu at the top right side of the page.
Go to
ACCOUNT >> MY ACCOUNT
When this page comes up go to
STORE PROFILE
Go to EDIT.
5. ADDING THE NEW IMAGE TO YOUR PROFILE
Click on the Personal Quote Image/Link box.
A prompt will come up allowing you to pull an image from your computer.
Click on this and look a couple of lines below this.
Click on "Choose File". Pick this if you saved the image on your computer.
If you saved this image on another site, paste the URL in the box below.
The TpT site supports .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, .tif, and .tiff files
The maximum file size is 5Mb.
The file will be resized to 450px by 150 px
Upload your image.
Then, in the box below that, enter a link that will direct people to another page - or in my case, will direct people back to my store. ;)
6. SAVE THE CHANGES
Click on the SAVE button and then check your TpT store home page to make sure everything looks how you want it to look.
