THE TRUE SIZE GEOGRAPHY WEBSITE

So here is a lovely geography website I just found out about.  Why didn't I find this sooner? thetruesize.com

Ever want to compare the size of one country to another?  How big is Greenland to compared to California or Australia?  Not as big as you might suppose.
Here's how it works: simply enter the name of the country into the search bar at the top left.  The country is then highlighted.  Next drag that country on top of another country and you've got your comparison.  Simple.  Easy.  And enlightening.
Some countries are much larger, or smaller, than I was given to believe.  The Mercator maps tend to skew size a bit.
As for Greenland - it looks huge on the map, but it's really only about the size of Mexico, or India. The wonders I could share with my kids!  What fun.
